Learning about vintage costume jewelry is a continual process of surprise and delight. Each piece is a tiny piece of history and has a story to tell. Sharing a collection with others increases that enjoyment.  What fun it is to find a lovely piece, learn about it and perhaps pass it on for someone else’s pleasure.

With this website, we hope to share our love of vintage costume jewelry as we continue collecting and learning. Many of the pieces are incredible finds from my sister, Jackie, who has an undeniable ability to spot special treasures, and we cannot forget Dr. Mary who gently nudged our curiosity about the jewelry we had collected for so many years. The most wonderful teachers of all have been the incredible family of friends in the Jewelry Ring and Jewel Collect.
